1. Lumion 8.3 and newer

In these versions of Lumion, the clouds, moon and stars are rendered at the highest quality in Movies and Image Sequences, so you do not need to read this article.

2. Lumion 8.0

In this version of Lumion, the cloud, moon and stars can't be rendered at the highest quality in Movies and Image Sequences, so we recommend that you install version 8.3 or newer.

3. Lumion 7.5 and older

In these versions of Lumion, the clouds, moon and stars will render at a lower quality in Movies and Image Sequences by default .

3.1: To set the sky to the best possible render quality in Lumion 7.5 and older, please add a Cloud Effect and turn on HQ Clouds in movie render (slow):

3.2: If you hold down the U key in Photo & Movie Modes, the clouds, moon and stars will look closer to the final render quality in the preview window.

This is useful if you want to see what the sky will look like while adjusting the Cloud, Sun and Moon Effects. Bear in mind that the Volume Clouds Effect has to be rendered in at least 3 Star Quality to see what these clouds will look like in final render quality.
